At NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital, patients visiting the Emergency Department with non-life threatening illnesses and injuries can have a live video visit with a Weill Cornell Emergency Medicine physician. The first program of its kind in New York, the program has reduced ED admission to discharge time from 2.5 hours to less than 35 minutes.
