The article also described how other health systems have asked NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center about emulating the program. John Deledda, the chair of emergency medicine for the Henry Ford Health System, stated that the model could be "very applicable for most academic, urban medical centers that are handling a lot of subacute and minor types of complaints that are traditionally handled outside of the [ED] by primary-care doctors."
