NewYork-Presbyterian has been included in the CIO 100 for NYPCare+, a mobile electronic record and collaboration tool. Each year, the CIO 100 honors the hundred best projects in Informational Technology across the nation. NYPCare+ integrates with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Providers can use the application to see, enter, and upload EMR data straight from their phones. NYPCare+ also includes features suggested by the providers that collaborated with NewYork-Presbyterian’s IT staff to test and iterate the technology. The application’s “Pictures” capability enables providers to take and transfer photos directly into the patient’s chart, greatly streamlining the upload process.
