Diana is an IT Innovation Coordinator. She works on the implementation and operation of NYP OnDemand Virtual Visits. Virtual Visits increase patients’ access to healthcare by enabling a live videoconference, via computer or mobile device, with their clinician. Diana’s primary responsibilities include onboarding and supporting new virtual practices, collaborating with the Development Team on improvements to the NYP App, and managing vendor relationships.
Diana’s previous experience includes various positions in health and information technology. As an Analyst at Staten Island Performing Provider System (SIPPS) on the Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Program, she worked to reduce readmissions to the Emergency Room in Staten Island by 25%. She was also a Project Advisor for a Health Information Technology Certificate program. While attending graduate school, she worked as a teaching assistant, student consultant, and in emergency preparedness.
Diana is a graduate of Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health where she received her Masters in Public Health. She also has a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Lehigh University and a Certification of Professional Achievement in Health Information technology from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons.
